Pokerstars zoom cashgame Limping whit AA KK or QQ

I was wondering if limping whit AA on the button preflop is an option in cashgames. For example i got 12 times AA today and i like never slow play them at all i raised or 3 bet all the AAs today and always got a fold, now i am thinking of limping whit AA since i am anyway not getting value of 3betting AA preflop in the zoom cashgame on pokerstars (50nlh / 100nlh)

would like to get some opinion on it bevor i try that since normaly when i slow play AA i get punishd so hard.

if i play whit a agrresive player who i notice she play bad and is in my table i play just whit call , but nothing is sure in online poker you can lose whit AA every hand .

I do not see any sense in limping with any hand. Simply because we are not going to chips from rivals.

Any play is always an option. However, I don't think so. If the action passes to you on the button, and it's just you and the blinds, they're expecting you to put in a raise. Limping here looks very suspicious. Go ahead and raise and if all you get is the blinds, so be it. If it goes to the flop, they're less likely to credit you with the big pair since you could be raising with nearly anything. You wouldn't get that value if you just limped.

If I'm in the small blind with pocket aces, there I'm more inclined to just complete. That way, the BB gets a free look in, and you might get some value from him there. On your good days, the BB picks up a good hand and then you can 3-bet him. Picking up pots uncontested without a flop is never a bad thing. That's 12 pairs of aces that didn't get cracked.

well like always It all depends... but for me limping with pocket aces is just not right, you should always raise with AA or KK if someone already raise there you could just call and maybe try a slowplay, but in any position if you have AA or KK you should raise if anybody has, because is better to have the blinds that risking to loose the power of your hand... my thinking is this when i have a premium hand (AA or KK) if you want to see the flop you must pay

Expect folds more often than not when you have Kings or Aces. The problem with limping Kings or Aces is that you're opening yourself up to your opponent's entire range (especially if they're in the blinds) and run the risk of their flopping 2 pair or a set. Then, when they apply pressure on you, you now have to make a REALLY tough decision about whether or not to fold your "one pair".

I find that when playing passively, trying to lay traps, you end up getting caught in your own trap many times. Poker is about applying pressure, to force your opponents to make mistakes. You take that away from your arsenal, you open yourself up to being taken advantage of.

Your being exploited getting those folds. If they know your tight and you only open tight your being had.

By adjusting we will open up our opening ranges and 3betting ranges. Until they play back at us we can steal the blinds effortless and everyone would love to win blinds without any problems.

Once we open wider and people adjust. We can simply adjust back . You learn to do this with experience.

Not only happens to you to many happens to the same hands as AA kk are very strong hands you will win 80% of the time however you can have preflop, it happens to all

I read about this a couple of weeks ago, and I'll try to explain from memory why limping in is a bad idea.

If you bet 400 chips on a 100 chips pot, and 1 or 2 people call 30% of the time, we'll win around 2000 chips preflop after having this situation 10 times.
Now if you limp in each time, the preflop pot might be as big, but suddenly you have a way smaller chance of winning the pot due to many more people not having folded. People will hit 2 pair, straights or flushes, which you can't compete with. That's why you try to bet, and isolate. And sometimes people will fold, and sometimes you'll crush those that call.

Here's a concrete example:
Imagine there's a pot of 125 chips (sb 25 bb 50), and you limp in with 50 chips, and 1 guy in position calls, sb calls as well. There are now 5 players seeing the flop (pot is 250), and your theoretical chance of winning the pot is around 30%. Sure, that's higher than 20%, but it's worse than if you had bet and only 1 guy had called.
So if you bet 400, and 1 guy calls, you suddenly have 60-80% chance of winning a pot of 925 chips. And winning this amount compensates for the cases where others fold.

That means that on average you'll be better of betting than folding.
