The most important point in learning poker is the transition from intuitive play to a conscious understanding of ranges and frequency. A key skill is understanding how ranges play out on different flops, as well as the ability to bluff based on opponents' fold rates.

I think one of the most important parts of the game is analyzing and working on mistakes. You, like anyone else, have weaknesses and strengths. And if you analyze your game every time, then over time, you will start to grow and this growth will be an irreversible process.

When working with a solver, the main focus is usually on the most frequent and impactful spots on your win rate. The most important is the button vs. big blind matchup in open pots, because it happens constantly and small decisions accumulate over time. Blind duels are also critical due to the wide range of hands involved. In short: the most studied and relevant spot is button vs. big blind, as mastering it makes all the difference in your game.

I don’t read poker books, don’t watch YouTube videos and don’t use a solver…I have learned from 50 years of playing experience…are there areas of my game that need improvement; absolutely…but I tend to learn through doing, not reading…
The area that should get the most attention is preflop…every hand starts preflop, and many hands end there, so by the numbers, it is the most important part of the game. Like playing bridge, you must learn the bidding process before you can play the hands. Proper bidding often dictates how the hand is played…same with poker…picking which hands to play comes before playing the hands.

The position at the table is important, but you need to pay attention to the opponent, the stage, and other factors

There are many players winning with awful hands, you need to deal with that and play against it, so we need to keep studying

There are so many spots to study. I think the most interesting ones are on later streets when there was already some action and money in the pot. Preflop Spots are pretty simple mostly as long as you are not very deep stacked.

Understanding preflop is definitely an essential skill.
After that I personally think bet sizing, and standard play style (which seems to change every time a new YouTube video is released)
