What is your thoughts about Cashout on GGpoker.

I used from 68% to 95%, but then happens i lose 95%+equity, when there is only 1 or 2 outers. (ex: I hold AsKd, he has KhKc on board give 3cAd 8h turn 6d and river Ks)
That started to hurt my balance i win, hands when i press on 68% and lose when i don't press on 95%.
If i start to use, do i need to use all times?

Cashout option is tricky..
Sure you can reduce variance that way but
long term it is not beneficial to use that feature.


Each pokerroom who offers that option demands 1-2% fee for the cashout option. Which is basically an additional rake.

If you constantly do a cashout it will hurt your winrate long term cause you forfeit a potential pot and you only get some pennies as "win"

If you do this every time, the amount will add up. If you have a weak psyche or play at a higher stake, this can be a useful tool, but in a normal game it is better to just always refuse.

I actually like the Cashout feature on GGPoker — it gives me a way to protect from those brutal river suckouts. 😅 Sometimes it’s better to take the guaranteed value than risk a bad beat, especially deep in a session. Lol.

Cashout option is best skill in online poker cash games,
you have 1 apple in your hand or 100 apple intake tree ?
ofcourse you choose 1 apple in the hand right ?
I always cash out , in long term you get more apples in the hand trust me.

I looked into it and it seems they charge a 1% fee.
It’s a convenient feature if you're just playing for fun in short sessions,

Something similar happened to me as well, but it might have just been bad luck.
That’s why I think it’s a good idea to set a rule for yourself—to always use it or never use it—considering the impact on your mental game.

Alternatively, I don’t use it when I have around 100BB,
but I do use it when both my opponent and I have over 300BB.
Losing 300BB in a single hand is just too much.
So, you might want to consider making decisions based on stack size.

As others have said, it comes with a 1% fee, so its really best to not use it at all or as little as possible. If you are a 95% favourite, you need to pay the 1% fee 20 times just to avoid a single bad beat, which is obviously a very expensive "insurance". Its also a bad deal to use the feature, if the money at stake hardly even matter to your bankroll, because for instance you were experimenting with some new strategy at a lower limit, or the opponent started with a broken stack.

So if you are ever going to use the feature, it should only be, when a significant percentage of your bankroll is at stake AND you have a significant risk of losing. Say you have a $400 bankroll, the total pot is $30, and you equity share is 70% or $21. Then it might be ok to pay a 21c "insurance fee" to pull those $21 home and increase your bankroll with 5,25% rather than running a 30% risk of ending up with nothing.
