10NL on PokerStars.
Money got in on the flop. Thought I was ahead but was way behind.
River Stars hit again.

When was the last time you hit a one-outer on the river?

Congratulations. Cool :)
This is the kind of situation that deserves to be in an album.

Ahhh, the classic PokerStars special 😅
Happens to the best of us. You get it in feeling like a genius, already counting the stack… and then boom — river peels the one card in the deck that ruins your day.
Last time I hit a true one-outer on the river was in a spot I probably didn’t even deserve to win. Completely bricked turn, mentally started stacking chips for villain, and then the river saved me. Felt amazing for about 5 seconds… followed by guilt and a quick “sorry in chat” 😅
That’s poker though — sometimes you’re the statue, sometimes you’re the pigeon. Variance always collects its tax, especially at 10NL on PokerStars.
Curious to hear others’ stories — when was your last filthy river miracle? 🃏

Poker players typically rely not on the number of outs, but on the percentage of winning on the turn and river. This helps them make the right decision about whether to continue or fold. The deeper the stacks and the more opponents in the hand, the less you should chase weak draws. Simply because in such situations, it's easy to lose all your chips. Of course, a flush or a straight is a very strong hand, but always consider your opponents' possible ranges.

Nice hand , for you ))) I guess the other player might have taken a break from poker to recover , from this hand . I was very rarely so lucky in poker , yeah that's a fact . Most of the| times , should I say 95% of these hands were benefiting the opponents . That's my story in all poker sites .

A sense of profit, a misunderstanding, an understanding of failure, despondency, a flash of joy! ))) This is memorable! )
