My strategy is not to spend more than I can afford. Thanks to this, the game brings me joy and satisfaction. Sometimes I even make a profit, but not as often as I would like.

Pretty sure he ment bac bo wich is a game similar like sic bo who is play with dice but still with awful odds for players

It looks like Lux is assuming that everyone knows every game.
Bac boo or Buck boo is actually a very simple game where you play with 2 dice against the dealer's 2 dice.
Of course it's not that simple, but you can think of it as Yahtzee with only 2 dice instead of 5.
