Are casino “signals” actually real… or just an illusion?

Hey guys,

I’ve been thinking about something lately and wanted your opinions.

On Betway and other casinos, they always show recent winners. And it’s not just one game… I’ve seen it across multiple games like slots, Aviator, FlyX, etc.

Sometimes it even looks like the SAME player winning multiple times in a short period.

Which got me wondering…

👉 Is there actually such a thing as a “right time to play”?
👉 Do these games go through hot and cold phases?
👉 Or are “casino signals” just something people believe in but aren’t real?

Because if everything is truly RNG, then timing shouldn’t matter at all. But at the same time, seeing repeated wins makes it feel like there is some kind of pattern.

I’ve seen people selling “signals” for games like Aviator, claiming they know when big multipliers are coming… but I’m very skeptical.

So I’m curious:

  • Do you believe in casino timing or signals?
  • Have you ever experienced a “hot streak” that felt too consistent to be random?
  • Or do you think it’s all just probability and selective visibility?
Let’s hear your thoughts 👇

I think it's all random luck, people who play casino games a lot probably win more often so you probably see the same names.. but you don't see how many times they lost....

Though I believe it's all random, I also believe that some slots would pay off big prizes or even Jackpots when the time is right, which means when they would've "swallowed" a certain amount of money. Some people used to watch certain machines for long periods of time before they get on them. Apparently, those are the slots pros.

Your intuition can work in the most incredible ways. But if you play haphazardly, don’t follow bankroll management, and spend more than you can afford, that kind of play will lead to problems, at the very least. And even in that case, you’ll still have a chance to hit the jackpot one day.
At the same time, a player who plays systematically and with discipline, avoids unnecessary risks, and sticks to bankroll management, preserves their nerves and also has the same chances of hitting the jackpot one day. But the player who plays with discipline still has a better chance, since the probability that they will continue to play systematically in the long run is higher.

I’m sceptical about that sort of thing too. Sure, your intuition might tell you when the time is right, or it might not :)
It’s all down to chance, and to make matters worse, chance isn’t on our side. The IT staff at the casino know what they’re doing :)

No me personally I don't believe in such signals. This is just made up fantasy stuff by gambling addicts, same goes for so called "patterns".

I agree with you: “Players who play with discipline still have a better chance, since they're more likely to keep playing consistently over the long term.” I believe in intuition, but it's purely personal, and everyone has their own beliefs—or lack thereof! Good luck to everyone!

There is not a good time to play, there is no such thing as hot and cold phases and there are no signals for when it is best to play a specific slot machine. Every spin is totally random, which means hot and cold streaks are also random and can't be predicted.

Yet when you are playing it is hard to convince yourself of this. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Sometimes when I play slots I think there may be something to timing.... I will play one slot for certain amount of spins, if no wins, I will move on to another machine and start again. I do find if I am winning, I continue to keep winning until I dont...ahhaha, just gotta see the cut off time.

I believe in the signals in slot games. And I have experience of wagering money earned through free spins. I wagered the bonus money in 4 different slot games. I switched between these slots every time when I got 4-5 spins without earning any money. In the end, I managed to wager the bonus money 3 times the initial amount. ;)

Good to hear a different view, I agree with you that signals are real, how can 1 person win big in a particular slot everyday, or day after day, that shows there is a signal.

And on top of that, if a slot is paying, lets say Hot Hot Fruit is giving bonuses, and you tell me to play and I play, I will win those free spins

And the biggest problem is “the cut off time” which, let's face it, is really hard! Good luck, Nicole!

Blindly following signals often leads to a lack of personal strategy and greater risk, don't believe it.Players may overestimate the effectiveness of signals and start placing unreasonably high bets.

I’m generally convinced that my results will depend more on my state of mind than on anything else. First and foremost, I go by how I feel, and only then do I take everything else into account.

Everyone has their own view of gambling. But for me, there’s no room for any superstitions. It’s simply a matter of chance. There’s the money you have at your disposal, and there’s the level of risk you’re prepared to take. It’s this combination of factors that determines the outcome of your game.

Mostly players lose money because of illusions. I try not to fall for these deceptive feelings and play exclusively with a clear calculation.

"Believing that you are this close to winning" is what builds beautiful casinos.
