Austrian Casinos have an own App where they offer a selection of games also available in their venues.
But only for residents with casino card

That's interesting. I guess you got that casino card? Do you use it on regular basis and do you also play live in those casinos?

I do have the card yes . I am playing there very rarely though. Never on the app though.
Our casinos never had great poker offerings.. they have cashgame almost every day but at starting limits above my budget.
Used to play live a lot when the cardcasinos of Peter Zanoni were still open but he never was able to renew his license 🙄

For pokertournaments I cant even stay in Vienna ! They generally don't have tournaments in the location, only couple of times a year lol
Have to go to Baden . Very beautiful casino but annyoing to reach without a car

I remember this name Peter Zanoni but its long long ago i heard this name the last time. Sounds like online is the way to go then if there are no decent live poker offers.

I remember this name Peter Zanoni but its long long ago i heard this name the last time.

Yeah he opened poker casinos in the late 90s and ran sucessfull until 12-13 years ago...
We had a delightful far right government which was evidently corrupt . Novomatic lobbyists convinced them to cancel Zanonis license and give the state casinos a de facto monopoly. Which is against our constitution
Hope someone rich would pursue a lawsuit against the state being able to go to the highest court. That would enable casinos dedicated to poker to reopen again....
Because they would be forced to issue licenses aside state owned gambling businesses

With how good technology is I would expect casinos to have more robust betting Apps soon.

There you’ll be able to find various online casinos, and I think you’ll also find some that let you play via a mobile app.

I know of a few poker sites where you can optionally choose casino games within the app. For example, PokerStars, 888 or GG Poker.
