Do you get a head change before going to the casino or drink while gambling?

well I quit smoking cigarettes about two years ago, mainly because the cost of two packs per day was just too much.
Some of the longevity doctors I watch recommend small doses of nicotine, not for me, as I haven't forgotten how addictive it was.

Two packets in the US is approximately equal to the cost of 1/2 a packet here in Oz, I gave up the cigs a long time ago, as for the other I haven't had any in quite a while.

Well, I only smoked once in a casino, met someone who had some good Moroccan stuff. Lost $400 bucks at BJ 😝.

As to drinking before going to a casino, that never crossed my mind. I know that at a certain point; I'll be having free Heinekens.

I smoke too. But I gave up alcohol and don't drink it anymore. I only play casino games online, at home or at work. I usually drink coffee, which energises me and helps me concentrate better.

I don't know what you think you need "liquid courage" for - your poker game is just fine as it is.

If you have a headache or experience some arthritis or back pain that is distracting you from performing your best - then IMO a little pain numbing is appropriate.

But my standard answer is....that anything that makes you lose contact with the feel of the game or your opponent(s) behavior or lose the ability to perform some basic poker math - is not good for your game in the long run.

The words I don't want to hear out of my mouth after a few margaritas is, "Who cares? I'm all in!" Especially on a bad draw LOLOLOL

I don't drink alcohol when I gamble. A few times I got drunk and lost more than I could afford. After that, I just promised myself not to do it again, and I'm keeping my word

Try to never drink when gambling period. I break every now and then with a couple beers. I smoke, not nicotine, it helps me focus. I also make sure I have a couple of my Anxiety meds with me.

I do use nicotine ,excuse me, I smoke about one cigar a day. I was a two pack a dayer myself up until 2020-2021. But like Jay, it cost way to much for 2 packs of Cigarettes. $12.00 + when I quit.

But no, I wouldn't drink or smoke to go to one.

If one day I have the opportunity to go on one, it will be just for fun and spending money without pretending to return lol

I play at home, only online. I don't have any special preparation for the game, but the most important thing for me is to finish all my household chores so that I don't have any additional tasks to do during the game. During the game, I usually drink tea or juice.

Me personally I completely stopped drinking Alcohol some time ago already and it was some of the best decision i ever made. So nope.
