Good point. But what if you only won an amount equal to your bet?
Maybe the only time it could be an option but not for me.

I ran into that option while playing Jacks or Better. And I decided to try it and double-up my doubled-up and lost.
I decided to keep it simple. And just take my winnings after that.

Yeah, keep it simple. I agree with you, but sometimes the win is just equal to the original bet, then why not take a little risk.

It depends on the mood and the size of the bet. If the bet is minimal, I am often willing to try doubling.

I would agree on the second part. If it's just less or equal to the original bet, I think I'd go for it.

Controlling emotions is not an easy task my friend, it needs a lot of learning and practice, on and off the felt.

There are different situations. If intuition tells me to take a risk, then in most cases I am ready to do it. For me, risk is always acceptable if it is a risk within my limits.

Fair enough. As long as it wouldn't hurt, why not?

never had a casino offer "Double or Nothing," but it definitely depends on the amount won.
And from experience, I can say, depending on the mood, many tend to just say FI and go for it,
all or nothing, no guts, no glory. If I'm satisfied, then I say no; if not, I double.
We used to play our games at real money sites, and America's Card Room would throw up a game
of double or nothing after any cash, before payment. Too many people were tempted, and they had to quit.

Well, ACR does it in the casino too. Sometimes it's really tempting, easy money. But it's definitely a sucker move.

Fair enough. Not too greedy. I think I would do the same.
I'd go the other way, keep the 1x and 3x and gamble the 5x, that way you're gambling less.

It all depends on how you define a win. If being up $1 is considered a win, then take it. Just don't spend it all in one place.

For you, online casino players.
Whenever you hit something, some online casinos offer you the option of doubling the amount won or lose it by gambling on a high/low card for example.
Do you take your winning or do you gamble?
Take the winnings always! :)

Nothing bad I'm sure except if the amounts you tried to double were significant.

Basically, I take the winnings. The exception may be situations where the winning amount is too small, then it may make sense to try to double it.

It depends, if this bet is for the entire bankroll of that site, no. If the bet is refering to a part of winnings a few times I try this risky bet!
