I don't like black jack, at least the one we have here in argentina, the tables have a betting limit and you can never make a big profit.

That lady could not offer you a room Ron. She wasn't a part of the casino staff. She was offering some company and maybe something else .
In this case, the casino is offering you a room, and in most cases, if it doesn't come with food and drinks, they would had put enough points on your card to get free "whatever" you want.

This is not about liking Blackjack or not. It's rather about you using your imagination. Suppose you are in that situation, would you accept the offer or go home?

PS: In all casinos, there's a minimum and a maximum bet.
