My username comes from the name of this game, which I have played for over 20 years! I recommend you try to learn this game, especially if you are young, and I can say it is a game of intelligence where luck is not taken into account. You can play it on casino.us, you will find it there, but first you need to read how it is played. It is a difficult game, it takes time to learn the principles and many other aspects. I can only tell you that this game has two parts: 1. The bidding, which determines the contract to be played in the second part, and 2. The trick-taking play, which represents how you fulfill the contract you won in the first part, or not.
This game is played just like poker, with tournaments held in venues with substantial prizes. It can also be played among friends at home for entertainment and more... I recommend you give it a try, you won’t regret it... I was in love with this game, especially because it is not a game of chance!

Tis a game, used to have several family members who played regularly so would play at family gatherings, but time & the reaper reduced the number of players so we now battle with the older younguns at dominoes. My ex was not a card player & the demands of my job prevented my getting involved with a regular game, but did really enjoy playing.

This game is worth studying! You will not regret it! The more you play it the more you will fall in love with it!

Yes! I will try to play again even if my partner is no longer with us... We would meet at the club and play at 30 tables by rotation, I think you know the system, or at home with friends or on an American site where I played for years! I can't tell you that we can't advertise on other sites according to the correct rules of CChat!

I have never played Bridge. The image of that game in my head looks like this:
elderly people spending an afternoon with game of cards and drinking tea.
This is probably due to some old British tv-shows I've seen in the past

Haven't played bridge since high school...used to play instead of going to class...sometimes even played with one of my math teachers...as he was leaving, he would ask if I was coming to his class...I usually responded no, I was too busy learning probability theory from bridge.

I heard a lot about this game but never took time to get more time to know what is this game about. This game sounds to me that it's really difficult game. I will give a try to read the rules hopefully I don't give up too early :)

Bridge is a great game, I used to get lesson from my grandmother.

I even had one of those games where you could play bridge by yourself.

This is one I've only played a few times, and I completely forget how to play. I need to look up the rules and get my family into this. My ex mother-in-law had a Bridge group, and her and her friends would get together and play and drink wine and just have a lot of fun.

That's a game I've never learned or played. But the bidding, the contract and the trick-taking are concepts I'm very familiar with through a game we used to play whenever we had a big family gathering except that we played it with the 40-card deck (Spanish cards) and that we called "trade".

Fact: I've been to a beautiful town on Long Island NY, called Bridgehampton and learned that it got its name from it. Before the American independence, the rich Brits used to have Bridge tournaments there, hence the appellation.

"Yes Tammy! It’s a high-society game and can be compared to chess in many ways! Memory and talent are essential! We played every day, either at home or at the club! If you allow me, I can mention the American site where it’s played at a professional level!:coffee:

As hard as it is, it’s just as beautiful! There are books to read, studies to do, but once you start playing, you won’t want to stop

And one last detail: my wife, who is no longer with us... RIP... created a bridge site that I funded, affiliated with that American site for beginner, advanced, and professional players, where bridge was played and freeroll or paid tournaments with buy-ins of $1, $2, $5 were posted! Amazing! I think I will start playing again!"

Bridge-ul este un joc grozav, am învățat lecții de la bunica mea.

Am avut chiar și unul dintre acele jocuri în care puteai juca bridge singur.
Trust what I tell you! There is no better game and the people you meet playing this game are special! Do not miss this game because you will see that it is fully worth the effort involved in learning it!
