The US has sanctioned a casino owner for his alleged ties to a cartel

Recently, the US government has sanctioned Luftar Hysa, an Albanian born Mexican casino owner, for being associated with the Sinaloa Cartel. Hysa was one of 27 people and entities named by the US Treasury Department as part of a money-laundering network. The Hysa network is linked to at least 10 casinos throughout Mexico with 'primary money-laundering concern'.

The Sinaloa Cartel controls or influences much of the territory in which the Hysa group operates.

The police is closing a lot of ilegal online casinos in my city, most of them are part of money laundering groups, drugs traffic related too.
