“Visiting casinos — social activity or solo escape?”

When people visit casinos, do they usually go with friends or relatives, or do they prefer to go alone as a way to disconnect?

I prefer to go alone as a way of spending time but I usually travel with friends or relatives so if they tag along to the casino, I won't mind. Casinos are several hours drive away from my place. If a casino would exist in my city, I will just sneak alone.

I generally go alone since I play poker tournaments and that isn't something conducive to being with a group of people. (I don't do it to disconnect though...it is just the way I am.) The only time recently that I've gone with someone else is with my friend Alice's husband when they come up to visit. We play cash games and craps.

Most often I play alone. Sometimes I play with friends if we all get together. Overall, it doesn't matter to me whether I play alone or with friends, it doesn't affect my game or my discipline in any way.

I only play online, so I always play alone. I don't have the opportunity to go to live casinos, at least not yet, but if I did, I definitely wouldn't go there alone, only with friends.

I've been to casinos with my wife, with friends. But most of the time by myself. When you go to play poker, you can't take people who don't play it with you. there's no point since you can't have fun together when you are sitting at a table for hours.

I've never been to a casino, but I think if I went, I would go with a friend who believed in and trusted my luck. Positive thinking is essential, because if you bet, you bet to win, and it's always good to have someone rooting for you. Well, but if I start losing a lot, that same friend might drag me home.
