First question, why remove them, Cant they opt for VIP chips instead of cash? (Maybe I am missing something) Second, these governments are getting out of hand...can't fight them I guess. What a disappointment and I fear Belize may do the same one day.

Restricted countries also cannot get chips for cash. We don't like it - but we have to follow regulations. (And yes, in my personal view it's the governments of these countries screwing things up for their citizens - it's the regular people who get stuck feeling the pinch, not any of the power elites and oligarchs. ).

These are international sanctions/restrictions/regulations, most likely due to Anti-Money Laundering regs, etc. Trump doesn't rule the world, contrary to popular belief (and I'm sure much to his chagrin 😏 ). Pretty much all the countries listed have been under some kind of restriction or regulation for decades, or outside of Trump's presidency. I think though there is a lot more pressure from financial institutions across the globe (i.e. Central, govt. banks) to fall in line with these restrictions/sanctions.
