I remember going to Las Vegas in the 1990s when parking was universally free, buffet dinners were $10, and hotels didn't nickel-and-dime you with $50/night resort fees and $26 bottles of water from the minibar in the room.

Now, nearly every property on the Las Vegas Strip charges for parking. Granted, it's not much at $20-$30/day compared to the cost of the room, but when do you finally say enough is enough? Do you think casinos on the Strip should go back to how things were done in the past?

I think times have changed so much that things will never be the same again. What was is now in the past. Everything changes, and unfortunately not always for the better.

Even if we would want that, it's kind of impossible. In about 10 years from now, you'll see things you don't see today and so on. Call it evolution or whatever you like. The arrow of time only goes in one way.

They could charge people who are just using their parking spaces without going to the casino but i disagree on charging their clients.

That's absurd & would have to move to another casino. It feels like a scam specially because I have not seen any casino that charge clients for parking (but I have never parked in LV too). LV is not planning to charge also for every drink including water in the casino, do they? I would imagine its not in the best interest of the casino to turn away any potential gamblers.

They could provide free parking tickets in the casino if need. Gamblers are entitled beings!

Of course, 30-35 years ago everything was different :)
But we will never return to those times.
It would be nice if parking were free, but the reality is that you have to pay for parking.
