Believe it or not, I have, just not in a casino, but on Pokerstars!

In 2006, I was playing an 18 player SNG on PS. When we were 3 left, one player started talking shit just like that, saying he'll destroy us using some insane profanity too. Little that he knew, I ended up knocking him out.
At HU, the other "player" said: "Thank you so much for getting rid of him, I'm happy with 2nd, you deserve to win" and started folding every hand. I did the same and we got into talking till somehow, we exchanged emails.

After the game, we had a long conversation on msn, very used then. I learned that she was a lady, an RN, living about 520 miles away from where I was.
A few days later, we exchanged phone numbers, 3 months later, we met and 6 months later, she moved in with me. We ended up getting married in 2009.

I don't remember meeting anyone really important to my life in a casino. I met many different people, good, bad, funny and sad. But none of them had any influence on my personal life. I met a few beautiful girls with whom I had relationships for a while, but that's all in the past now.

Of course it's real. But in 2011, I had to leave the country for some family matters and unfortunately, I couldn't get back to my wife, it would take pages and pages to explain the whole thing.
We only stayed in touch through Skype for a couple of years, but that didn't really cut it. I had to get a job here and the time zone along with our both schedules did not help at all. A little by little, the relationship started to fade, and that was it.

I haven't, but if you don't normally go to casinos, the people you meet in casinos will be the ones who go to casinos. Just something to keep in mind in case you start to wonder why there never seems to be enough money to make it to the end of the month

I don't. But people often meet in places where they relax or experience common emotions, and a casino is one of those places.Marriage is something different for everyone, just like everything in life. For me, marriage is definitely not a casino, it's a partnership.

In recent years, I hardly ever go to casinos. But before, I often went to gambling halls with slot machines that were close to my home. Every evening I met friends there. For several months I had a relationship with a pretty waitress. But I didn't meet anyone particularly important to my life there.

I haven't met anyone like that, at least not yet. My friend married a waitress who worked at a casino. But after a few years, they divorced because my friend started abusing alcohol.
