So, what does an unlicensed online casino look like? Germany's gambling regulator hopes they have the answers to help players recognize the black market sites. I believe the information presented is likely more for German online casinos, but I bet you could apply most of the suggested 'Red Flags' that the German regulator, GGL (Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder) has presented.

Is there anything else that could be added to the list of 'Red Flags'?

Those 14 vowels and 24 consonants reflect how seriously Germany takes its gambling law.
So this is how you evaluate Europeans :ROFLMAO:
Finns can do it too. Next time we should send a Lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikko to handle any negotiations ;)

Now a days even some of the shady sites say that their games are overseen by a gaming commission.

There is definitely no way to evaluate an online casino's legitimacy by the way the website or gaming environment appears. It's trivially easy to program very slick and professional-looking interfaces, especially now that AI can be used for the actual coding.

I think this says it all:

"Common red flags include non-.de domains, unusually generous bonuses, and “no-limits” marketing. And they lack the mandatory player-protection tools, such as the deposit caps or the OASIS self-exclusion system"

The only thing I can add is if a casino accepts only cryptocurrency, that will appear kind of suspicious to me.

Well, kinda. It has a meaning and someone could have a job title like that, but normally we don't make them that long. Although, long words are not that uncommon in Finnish language like siviilikriisinhallintaoperaatio, but even that example is beyond tourist vocabulary.

This rules apply only to the highly regulated German Gambling market.
All markets that ar not regulated in that way don´t have these limitations.

Player protection is not the main goal of the GGL and the "Glücksspielstaatsvertrag". (Taxes, and killing money laundering are more important)

Casino/betting providers are the main adressed things there.

I personally would say all sites that offer games that offer slots should be closed directly and are not allowed to get a license.
