Have you ever thought about starting your own online gambling business? I live in Ukraine, and we have an endless number of gambling sites here. They are absolutely everywhere, their ads fill the airwaves, social networks, YouTube channels, and other information resources. It seems that only the lazy haven't gotten involved in this lucrative business. But at the same time, as far as I understand, about 90% of all these sites operate outside the law. And therefore, it is quite dangerous to play on such sites because it is quite likely that your big winnings will not be paid out. Nevertheless, at first glance, setting up such a business in my country does not seem to be a particularly difficult task. How is this issue in your countries, and have you thought about the possibility of starting such an activity?

I have thought about it, I knew some guys who did really well opening an offshore casino, but the risks are just to big from a legal standpoint in the states.

This would currently be impossible in my country at least legally. But I have sometimes tinkered with an idea where I would have 100 euros in 1 euro coins, and a small jar about 20 feet away.
A game would cost 10 euros, and a player could keep every coin that lands inside the jar when thrown from that distance.

Everything is clear when it comes to illegal websites. You don't need a lot of capital, you can earn a lot of money quickly, but you can also end up in prison for doing so. As for legal websites, the licence costs millions, and only very wealthy entrepreneurs can afford to work in this field.

I never really thought about starting such business.
To begin with, it's very difficult to do it legally. If you have enough money to start, you can only get a license if you accept to have a partner. A partner who would only get the license and provide "protection", wouldn't invest a dime. Someone who's related to the "Highest authorities" if you know what I mean.
As to try an underground operation, you'll be taking a huge risk.

No, there's no point in starting an illegal business where you could end up in jail just for money. Freedom is the most important thing. And I'm not interested in having a business where I can ruin people's lives.

Well , many such sites that start overnight also close at a night , stealing deposits . There are countless online casinos out there , you really need yo choose carefully where you are going to play . Play on trustworthy casinos , with god reputation . I font believe that everyone can create such a casino site , some money invested is needed to fo so , done money to advertise snd promote your site . Also money to pay for licence , except if you decide to be a unregulated scam site , even today there are many such online casinos to be avoided .

It’s completely illegal here in India now, none of the major platforms are now operational.

I doubt anyone in this forum has the millions of dollars that would be needed to do that. :)

My point of view is: you have war and you deal with gambling a lot and on many sites! If I were Ukrainian I would not play anything because I consider it disrespectful to those who lose their lives, their families, their children.

I think that in order to start your own online gambling business, you need to spend a lot of money on advertising on various information platforms. The competition is very fierce in this area. And no, I have never thought about starting my own online gambling business.

I think in most countries a gambling license isn’t easy or cheap to get. That’s why so many sites choose to operate without one, even though it’s risky. Governments usually make the requirements strict so that only serious companies can enter the market.

Even if I did, knowing the amount of headaches and regulations that need to be followed to have a legitimate site, I would invest my money elsewhere.

I never thought about that. I mean, I was thinking about my own business, I was planning to open a car service, but I didn't have enough money for that. As for the gambling business, you definitely need more money there than for a car service :)
