Does anyone know the rules to this game I had trip A and lost to high card. I'm so confused and frustrated

There's no 2,3,4 or 5s in the deck, flush beats a full house and the lowest straight is A6789. That's the only differences so maybe you misread your opponents hand?!?

thanks for the reply it was exactly that. he had a 6789 with A i cant believe i didnt know that before playing im such a idiot

No worries, new games can be a bit awkward sometimes so maybe keeping a Web page open with the rules can be a good idea. I used to do that when I first started playing 8-Game tournaments. As I only knew the rules to a couple of the games, having the rules open on the side can really help with that feeling

I think it is necessary to widen the range, this is a very dispersion type of poker in which luck is an important factor, you can lose a lot of money I try to avoid this discipline
