Rounders.
Definitely a watchable movie for everyone, even those uninterested in poker that much.

I like Rounder's the best followed closely by Cincinnati Kid. Actually probably Cincinnati Kid first. Never seen Molly's Game. I don't think I'd like it. The Stu Unger movie was cool too.

Rounders!!

Unequivocally it would be Rounders. I think the movie has proven to be just about timeless. It’s a good movie that happens to be wrapped around some very good poker. My opinion!

This one about an annual high stakes poker game is the one that I enjoy the most. It is the story of a traveling homesteader with a gambling addiction, played by Henry Fonda, who uses all of the money he and his family brought on the way west to buy into the game. At times it is humorous, and at times it is sad, as he struggles against all odds to win and keep his wife and family. The supporting cast is excellent with Jason Robards and Joanne Woodward as co-stars. You'll recognize most of the other players from movies/television, as well as from other people you've played with over the years. :)

Yes it has to be rounders. So many people started playing poker either because of Moneymaker or Rounders.

I think all the films are not bad that you indicated and were indicated in the comments. All the films are played by professional acting and there is a good plot everywhere. But I don’t consider it necessary to look at cinema only from the point of view of a poker player.
Good game everyone.

I prefer to watch video tournaments with professional players. I think it is more useful than watching regular poker movies.

I love how you noted the "(2006)". :) Shows that you really know your Bond movies. I don't know if you have ever seen this but it takes Herb Alpert's theme music from the 1967 film, and combines it with the opening credits from the 2006 version. They actually go very well together. :)

I saw all of the 007s from first to last, but I had no idea he did that with the music from the first Casino Royale, thanks for sharing. :icon_thum
