What's your biggest tell (something you do when you have good/bad cards)?

I've come to realise that when people are on some kind of drwa they tend to bet a very wierd size, small sizing that usually shows weakness. I've seen this alot of time and started using it to my advantage

When I have a hand that I’m definitely going to play (a strong hand), I make my decisions faster or almost automatically.
When I’m in an uncertain spot or I’m bluffing, my decisions become more deliberate and I tend to look at my opponent or the pot several times.

This is a really common and honest tell. Most players don’t realize how much their confidence changes their tempo and body language. The tricky part is that once you’re aware of it, good opponents can start reversing it on you by acting quickly in uncertain spots and slowing down with strong hands. Managing your decision timing intentionally can go a long way toward staying balanced and harder to read.

I think Mike Caro wrote a book about poker tells. The most famous poker tell is if a player looks down at his chips before betting, he has a strong hand. The second most famous is if a player checks his cards again, then waits a little and goes all in, he has the nuts and you should fold. I read that book out of curiosity. I think it's more of a case by case situation. Every player has his/her own poker tells. And also professional poker players have little or no tells.

I feel my chin and lower lip trembling when I'm bluffing. When I play a hand for value, I'm not in that state of anxiety. Someone once told me that I smile when I bluff, but I'm not sure about that... hahaha

I think it's unlikely that anyone would share their secrets at the poker table if we're talking about playing with good cards. But I will. :ROFLMAO: So, it all depends on the goals I set for myself. Sometimes it's enough for me to limp to turn the aggressor all-in, and sometimes I become the aggressor myself to provoke other players to play even more aggressively. ;)

From the previous posts, there are differences depending upon whether you’re playing live or on line…facial expression is a factor live, but timing is probably the biggest factor on line.

It's good to be balanced with it but I sometimes play fast when I have a good hand.

My biggest sign, is when I increase in games, it means having good cards, and when they are bad I don't go in to play.

I try to be patient and not get distracted from the game, regardless of what cards I have. Focusing on the process is often underestimated by novice players, and this prevents them from accumulating positive experience and improving their skills.
