Which country plays and respects poker the most and which doesn't?

Not much to do with countries to be honest. Majority of human race/world population lumps poker players in with gamblers and think they're nothing but worthless losers, degenerates, criminals and low life's.

^We may not like it but that's a fact of life and likely always will be.

Each country has its own rules, but the rules of the game are the same for everyone. I would divide it into continents and rooms.

I don't understand why there can't be the same poker rules all over the world?
especially the power of the internet to allow everyone who wants to play, etc
