I'm curious, what format do you prefer to play?

'massive personal growth'... care to explain? For me it feels like poker has the opposite effect on me but I'm interested in hearing about your experience and perhaps it can help me to look at mine differently ('mine' being... playing poker in general recreationally as I am far from playing 'for a living' unfortunately although I think I would like to be... soon (or it'll be never).

- Do you play life or online (or both)?
- Are you in brasil or moved somewhere else to do it?
- Do you have any issues with people around you? Family, friends? Are you comfortable saying you make living from playing poker to people who do not know the game?
(as I see it, everyone admires professional poker players on the top, winning big tournaments etc, but accepting someone just earning average money as a job this way could be seen as problematic)

I might have to give it a go ... my work has slowed down dramatically thanks to Trump's tarrifs. Manufacturing in canada is taking a death blow. I have seen 80% or so of all manufacturing dissappear to China and mexico in my 30 yr career. We won't be able to make anything here soon.
