Well, this is a question that, in my opinion, is very easy to answer. Depending on the stakes you play, it’s enough to stick to the basics: play in a simple and efficient way, choose the right
hands, know which hands to 3-bet, and avoid unnecessary bluffs. I play micro stakes, so at this level, playing for value alone is enough to be very profitable. You don’t need to keep
bluffing, because the opponent might have anything, even something like a fifth pair, and still call. So, it depends on the stakes. Between creativity and discipline, I believe discipline, in the long run, is much more reliable and guarantees more profit than creativity.
