It depends on the tournament I'm playing, the main thing is to play knowing what to do, if you play, enjoy and have fun, but if it's winning, I played everything in favor of the statistics.

As a hobbyist I don't use any stats, but if someone is determined to be a pro, it's inevitable to look at the percentages and build into your game.
I don't think anyone can become a professional without it.

My game is basically recreational, so investing a lot of time in using statistics and data or programs is not for me. salutes

Utilizing statistics in online poker is immensely important and can significantly enhance a player's game. It provides a quantitative foundation for decision-making, offering insights into opponents' tendencies, your own playstyle, and situational advantages. For example, understanding a player's VPIP (Voluntarily Put $ in Pot) can reveal their general aggressiveness or passivity. Similarly, a high 3-bet stat might indicate a propensity for pre-flop aggression.

A bit of both. I have learned off the basic odds etc, it does sometimes frame how I play a hand. I usually play abc poker, and play more aggressively late in tournaments.

I don't even remember this hand, but if it was in a forum freeroll, that explains everything. In free tournaments, I play for fun and can significantly expand my opening ranges and can generally go all-in right away, as you said, and whether I win or lose doesn't matter to me either, so if I beat your aces with my sevens, then I'm sorry, it's just a regular freeroll)

I rely more on my own logic and experience than on my feelings. I'm not used to playing on intuition, I'm used to just calculating my own chances and making decisions based on that calculation.

I play by "feel" but by using statistics as the foundation.

When it comes to tournaments, I play by feel,
but when it comes to cash games, I always play using statistics that allow me to determine the opponent's range.
But I only use the basic:
VPIP - calling range,
PFR - raise range,
AGG-aggression factor (tells me if i have to increase pot by my self or opponent helps me ;))
Hands - tells me how many hands entered the statistics, i.e. how accurate they are.

I omit the remaining statistics because to be representative you need to have several thousand hands
Your approach to using statistics in cash games makes a lot of sense, especially with the emphasis on fundamental metrics like VPIP, PFR, AGG, and the number of hands. These give you a solid foundation for understanding your opponents' tendencies.

While it's true that more advanced stats require a larger sample size to be reliable, focusing on the basics can still give you a significant edge without overwhelming yourself with too much data. It's a practical way to blend intuitive play with statistical analysis.
