No, I genuinely like playing poker. The addition of money to it is just a form of spice to me, since Im playing for a particular reason, I have a certain goal. I never play with my money, hence I never feel the pressure of loss nor do I experince the burden of one.

I have no need to pretend, I enjoy the game and the extra money it brings... perhaps if you don't enjoy the game or have a "burden of losses" another hobby may be more suitable for you👍

There are differences in what people want but personally I am passionate about it. I like the feeling between chest and back when victory is close. If you play it because you hope to get rich, you will get frustrated because the goal is very far away, but if you do what you are passionate about Like me, the road is more fun, happy day.

I enjoy playing it, love it when u make a good move or trap someone and obviously finishing ITM and winning tournaments it's a great feeling!

Playing 20+ years and running I still love it.

But then I'm not grinding away everyday for hours and hours now days. When I play I have been known to play a lot though. Been known to double table quite a bit in the past and most times for 12-14+ hours. Don't play nearly as much now days but still love the game just as much.

I never lived in the foolish hope that I would become rich through the game of poker. Maybe I'll be lucky, maybe not, Nevertheless, for me, poker is entertainment that brings me joy and satisfaction.
