Do you smoke while playing?

I used to smoke a lot playing, but I stopped, and one of the hardest situations was to stop during poker games

It's illegal to smoke marijuana in our country so i don't but i smoke tobacco when i play poker .And i don't think it affects my game .

I am not a smoker.
I think it is not recommended to smoke during a gaming session as it can impact a player's concentration.
So, it is better to smoke during the break.

How does this affect your concentration?

I used to smoke while playing On-line, but after suffering a Heart Attack I gave it up, Smoking has no beneficial effects on anything you do, It is all in your mind that it helps you to concentrate, because it doesn't. In fact Smoking actually kills Brain cells quicker than the polluted air around you.
Giving up Cigarettes has actually helped my Bank Balance over the last ten years as I am now earning more interest on my savings because I can invest more, It is really strange that I actually get calls from my bank manger now saying I have too much money in my current account and need to move it. Something that never happened when I Smoked.

if I smoke, and although it does not help my health, it relaxes me or calms me down. especially in tournaments that are very extensive. I don't recommend it but everyone is an adult and has their responsibilities.

It depends on what you smoke. Hahaha! I've been a chain smoker since I was 16 years old, and I quit five years ago when I started training Jiu Jitsu.

In my personal case... I don't smoke... but many people like it... it gives them satisfaction and they relax... so I don't think it's a negative while playing poker... it's matter of taste...

It all depends on how the substance acts on you. I know PRO players who use it during sessions and several who don't. I particularly do sometimes. But each to their own. The most important thing is to study and seek to apply this knowledge. Good luck at the tables.

If I used to smoke when I played, that reassures me. But it's been a while since I smoked and now I'm trying to maintain that focus without drinking or smoking.
