I try to mix both, but sometimes a strong feeling makes me break the math rules. Which one leads you to better results?

I trust my instincts , because my math knowledge of the poker game really sucks . So I have to go with my instinct . Most times . But math generally of course ix better and simplifies things a lot .

I play more with instincts I don't believe in mathematics, I believe more in luck, if it's your day it's your day.

I know that mathematics is better in the long term, but I play more instinctively, I need to study more to play with only pure mathematics ajsjjas

I have not studied the math of the game...any decisions I make based on math are just a "feel"...so. in effect, I am playing by instinct...or just flying by the seat of my pants.

I never use math on poker😄 It is card game with big factor of luck. So just watch others and make your move.

depends if you got a read or not. math is bigger online unless you have a hud or history with a player

Of course, in poker, you have to combine both mathematics and your inner feelings, but in a difficult and responsible situation, you probably need cold calculation and mathematics.

Well considering poker is a math-based game...

My answer is > I trust my intuition which is based off of years of playing a 'math-based' game

I think this is one of those cases where one thing doesn’t interfere with the other — but if you rely too much on instinct, trouble is inevitable.

I usually trust the math more, especially in the long run. odds and EV don’t lie. But I’ve also learned that instincts can be valuable when they’re based on experience, like picking up on betting patterns or timing tells. So I’d say math builds the foundation, and instincts help fine-tune the decisions when the situation feels off.

I know that intuition is not something that can be learned, and I don't expect to magically acquire some sense of mathematical intuition.Solve many problems without reading the solutions. Create your own hypotheses and theorems. Set yourself mathematical problems and try to independently invent the theorems necessary to solve them.

I can say that I play both ways, most of the time using technique and sometimes using intuition.
