"I never bluff"

How many % of true credit on this chat box message do put hime on?

Myself 100% don't believe in him!
I saw a lot lot of so honest play, who bluff sometimes!


Just want to know , does anyone "NEVER" bluff playing poker?

I think solid multi table players can sometimes be predictable, its usually ABC range in relation to position, given the amount of tables they are using they dont have time to evaluate so will look at bettern pattern's and stats. and are almost certain to have some kind of hand if the chips are flying in deep. and they dont have a good spot

Where as this isn't always the case to any given online player

there are definately people who are to honest to bluff, its just not in there nature but wouldnt find many of them on poker stars or full tilt

Some cash game nits are close to never. Honesty in a SNG will get you blinded out.

Bluff bluff bluff, i already bluffed a few times on my short life of poker, sometimes i win and some dont, but the point its that bluff its part of the game, and alot of players do it. I have a nice example, on a table i was playing, i had QQ and i didnt make all in, put a huge raise, a guy called, on the flop were three 10s. What should you do? The guy had 3 times the value of chips i had, and he make all in. I thinked, and called, because if i had to leave, at least i leaved with a poker hand and knowing that i did my best. i called and he had AK. i won the pot! Its a risk, but i tought he had the 10, since he make all in almost instantly when flop comed up. That was a smart bluff and almost got me.

I rarely bluff in micro cash games.MTT if I'm in position in cutoff/button or sometimes if in I'm in the blinds and after the flop I will try if they are low cards on the flop like 6,6,2 or something like that.

I don't see how its possible not to bluff... Let's say you get AK suited raise pre flop, flop comes and you miss are you now check folding every time? also you have your semi-bluffs where maybe you flop a flush draw or straight draw where some times semi bluffing is the right move in that spot trying to take the pot down then and there...

If you never bluff or if you never get caught bluffing or show you are bluffing you won't get any value out of your made hands or at least it will be harder to get value...

Point me in the player who never bluffs direction and I'll play HU with em all day every day =)

A continuation bet isnt really a bluff per se. Its just standard to continuation bet unless you have like minimal equity vs many players.

Bluffs at the micro's are limited to c-bets usually.
As you always hear though: IT DEPENDS
If you have a nit on your left with a dry board for instance.
Against the calling stations tho, barrelling usually winds up
costing you money.....

you have to bluff if you play any turbos the only time i can think of you not having to bluff at all is super deep stack 12 min blinds levels in mtt... you can just sit and wait for a monster and push

Well I think anybody who play this game longer than 1 week bluffed at least once Sometimes its just obvious that other guy have nothing and he has absolutely no interest to continue in hand.. so even if you have air you can force him to fold with small bet. I bet everyone know what am I talking about

Depends on what you mean by bluff. If by a bluff you mean betting when you know or strongly suspect your hand is not best then open raising in EP with QJs is a bluff because chances are someone behind you has a higher card or a pair. But these are relatively low risk actions that don't require alot of skill of courage.

I think what you have in mind is the classic high risk "I dare you to call" bluff, and yes, there are players who NEVER bluff. Either they don't have the skill, or the nerve or just the temperament for it. I have played with people who I will never call a raise on the river without the nuts, for any amount. I could be getting 10:1 with a flush and I'll let it go. No need to look them up, I know what they have. These are not winning players, but they are far from the biggest losers. Under certain conditions you can do quite well for long periods of time without bluffing. In some of the crazy $1/$2 games I play there's just no need to.

The problem is that this type of player has no creativity. It's great to win a pot with the best hand in all the obvious situations. But there's nothing about that kind of win that sets you apart from anyone else. In the long run, all they're really just swapping chips back and forth with the rest of the player pool. Yes they'll win more from the worst players but they'll lose more to the better players. Of course none of that matters to them because this type of player is not there to win, they're just there to have fun or kill some time. The stereotype is the little old lady showing you pictures of her grand children while waiting for aces, not the young Asian kid with the hoodie and the iPod shuffling his chips.

If you want to win consistently in poker you need to find an edge. It's not sufficient to just win all the no brainers. You have to find situations where you can extract value with the worst hand. That means, continuation bets, check raise bluffs, float bluffs, hand reading and profiling.

this is actually a game of bluffing. you actually win more from bluffing than having the best hands if you learn to bluff. haha start from learning the advantage of positions. )

Everybody bluffs once in a while. Bluffs are part of poker. You should do it when a scary card comes. Like a pair in the board or a possible flush.

Perhaps you are not bluffing in the right situations. Bluffing is read dependent AND board dependent. We shouldn't be just throwing chips in to try and steal the pot we usually need to be representing a hand and we play it accordingly. So basically if the board is all raggedy and it is checked down to the river where a 2 hits probably not the best hand to bluff at cause you can easily get called by hands as weak as A high.
