Good evening, players.

What is your favorite poker player and why?
What features of him attract you?
There are players with more remarkable results than Daniel Negreanu; however, when it comes to popularity, he is the one who most awakens my charisma, after all, he has the advantage of being a communicator.
Moreover, he has a history of shining in highly visible events.

Daniel negranu, for his personality, and phil and phill hellmuth
Because he's a cyborg playing, he rarely makes mistakes

Negreanu is, without a doubt, the most charismatic poker player.😅

Regarding technique, I think the top players are pretty evenly matched.

I like the playing style of the Brazilian André Akkari. I've watched many of his video lessons on YouTube.

André Akkari continues to play poker at a high level, but less frequently.

Currently, he mainly serves as Co-CEO of the eSports team FURIA and considers himself "practically retired."

However, he still participates in important tournaments, such as the BSOP Millions High Roller.

He was World Poker Champion (wsop 2011 bracelet).

Presence in Poker: Participated in WSOP final tables in 2022 and 2024.

Akkari is considered one of the biggest names in Brazilian poker and remains influential in the scene, dividing his time between poker and eSports management.

Daniel Negreanu and for the “laid-back” way of handling sessions, and on the women’s side, Vanessa Selbst, for the strategic play.
Honorable mention to Tony G for being one of the few to make Phil Hellmuth uncomfortable (and not the other way around)

Scotty Nguyen for his Aura and Phil Ivey for his Goatness! 😁

For me it's Daniel Negreanu without a doubt. I've always liked the way he reads people at the table — he makes it look almost effortless, which I know it isn't.
Watching him talk through a hand is like watching a narrated film. He breaks everything down so naturally that even complicated spots become easy to follow. Learned a lot just by watching him play.

My favorite player is Adrian Mateos. I really like his aggressive style and how confident he is in high-pressure situations. He’s proven himself at a very young age and continues to perform consistently at the highest level

For me it’s less about having a single favorite and more about respecting players who consistently make great decisions under pressure.

That said, I get the point about Daniel Negreanu. His ability to read situations and communicate the thought process is what really stands out. Players like that don’t just win, they elevate how others understand the game.

Every summer I watch Daniel Negreanu's vlogs during the WSOP. I have travelled for very small buy in tournaments (and was disappointed with my own results every time). But it takes a very big bankroll to be able to play that many tournaments. He's very entertaining and he shows it like it is- the poker pro life- with ups and downs, good and bad decisions. I find it interesting and learn from his hand breakdown. I don't know if he's '' the best player''- not sure if that exist in poker ( sometimes you play your best, make the right calls and get rivered anyway), but he's a great ambassador for poker.
