Have you ever lost with four of a kind or straight flush?

Today I saw an interesting hand where a person was able to lose with a straight flush. Have you ever had something similar?

Never. I lost with four of a kind having AA on hand and with an ace on the flop. LOL sad story.

worse than ever in an omaha tournament I had four of ace and the villain had KQ of clubs and the plop hits AAJ and the A and J of clubs, then I raised pre all in and he shoved all in and I paid all happy then the T and the T of clubs hit on the river and he made the Royal and I was pissed until today when I remember this hand I want to cry!

You rarely see hands like that and especially during live play because less hands are dealt. If this type of hand happens live then before the dealer takes it away ask the dealer if you get something even if its like a voucher for a meal or something. Most live casinos will have an hourly or a bad beat pool that you can take down for nice money. Even if the hand doesn't qualify for the bad beat pool, a floor person could still give you something. Not so much online.

30 years playing both live and online and never ran into straigh flush on straight flush or four of a kind against straight flush.

The worst experience of a supper bad beat is I flopped the quad 6's and just called big bet. Just smiling because to me it was a sure thing. Turn card was another ace . I'm thinking he has A,K because his bet was huge. I just called. Last card was a king. I'm thinking he hit his boat. Guy pushed all in little over 4 grand total. I called and jump out my seat. By the time I realized I lost was after they started pushing chips his way. Sickest feeling ever.

Site didn't give bad beat jack pot.. called site to ask why and site said had to be quad tens I think..Second sickest feeling ever. .

I have been playing poker for a very long time, but I have never seen such a case or something like that. Terribly rare.

I haven't lost with quads or straight flush. It must be ultra brutal I have lost plenty of times with full house vs higher full house or vs quads, a lot of times with nut flush vs straight flush, but the one you've posted is just next level.

Don't let this scare you though, if it happens, it is very rare. Well that makes for a fun memory afterwards though .

I saw something like that a year ago in a stream of a PS-Pokerpro….he had the lower straight flush too…..but I didn’t have such a setup yet….and I hope if it will happen to mee I will be the one with the upper straight flush 😉

yes, I always remember that hand, I was playing in partypoker and I lost a hand that for me was won from the flop, I had a straight flush and my opponent hit a poker royal flush, it was crazy, it sounds a little crazy but this can happen, this is poker and maybe it is not the only time that happens to me, that's the way it is, haha good luck to everyone and may you overcome those hard moments.

lost with 4 Queens

lost with 4 queens once to 4 Kings. I was dealt QQ. Flop came up QQK . I bet pot and a guy raised me in a pot limit game. I raised his bet & he goes all in and I call of course . 4th street was a 7 and yep you guessed it river was a K which he had pocket K's so lost 4 Q's to 4 Kings. Thank God max you could bring to the table was $10 so that is all I lost.
