Some players jump into any game, while others carefully pick their tables.
Do you pay attention to table selection, or do you just play wherever you land?

Couldn't careless about table selection. Game selection when it comes to cash is more important. From 2nl-50nl I'll take all comers. Fun fact back when I first started playing quite a few of the pros/sponsored Pokerstars players use to sit at 2nl-50nl quite often. Use to love sitting and playing with them. Other Joe Hackem most were really decent, would chat, be respectful and fun to play with. Joe Hackem was just a jackass to everyone.

When it comes to MTT's anything with longer blind levels(10+ mins) and $5+ buy-in.

Cheers!!!

For me, table selection is important to have better control of the game, so I feel safe.

I think it's very good, depending on where the strategy has to change

I definitely pay attention—table selection is a skill. If the lineup looks tight and miserable, I’m out. Give me a loose, chatty table any day.

I never sit with Chinese player ( note - I'm not racist) . This because they play every hand whether it is good or bad and luckily they connect every hand

In my experience, certain player pools can be very hit-or-miss. Some players tend to play extremely loose and aggressive, which can make a session either really good or really tough. The key is not letting emotions take over, just stay patient, wait for the right spots, and you can do very well. But of course, that style also adds a lot of volatility and risk.

Good table selection skills in poker are crucial if you want to maximize the profitability of every hour spent playing. To maximize your winnings, you need to sit at tables with players who are worse than you.

I personally try to find games with regs I know I have an edge against. Can't always find them but any way to turn the tables in your favor should be taken imo.

Table selection is important for me, it let me know what cards can I play in which position.
