This question is based on what I see, especially in online poker, that the conversation between players has been lost.
Let's just say that poker has become a little or very unresponsive.
I remember back in the 2000/2010 decade, I played a lot at Unibet Poker, and I remember talking to many players.
What's more, I even started to speak English quite well, which is not my original language.
I remember that talking to English, Belgians, Dutch, Spanish, and others was almost daily.
I can't say that I made friends because I would be lying, but I do have good acquaintances at online poker tables.
Even at some tables both live and online, they were very friendly and personable.
Today I see and I regret that when they win a hand and one says the polite "good hand, or very good hand" of 50 players at most one can only thank.
And the situation vice versa, if I win a good hand in general almost nobody congratulates you.
Why has this good manners and education been lost so much???
Is it a question only of poker???
Or is it a question of life itself, and the dizzying way in which we live???
I wanted to know your opinions, from players and friends who play poker all the time and live these experiences.
Greetings to all!!!
Carlos:):):);););)

It's very true, now there is very little communication at the tables, perhaps it's due to lack of education or simply that there is no interest in meeting new people, in my case it's because of laziness in writing hahahaha

I have seen that there are many attacks.
And many for worse racial, or on nationalities.
Very sad

It is so dear friend.
One day at Full Tilt I played an MTT at the table with a player who told me that he was a Pro but that he liked to play low paying tournaments, to see and analyze plays that he could later use in his Professional career.
That player was neither more nor less than Gus Hansen.
The Pro is very friendly.
And you are right all that time is missed and very much.
Thank God we have a site like Cardschat, where you can make friends and talk about different poker topics and life itself.
kisses and greetings dear friend:):):);););)

I think that many players play several tables and have no time to communicate.

As you know, good manners are needed everywhere, and poker is no exception. It is worth starting the game by greeting other players. If you play online poker, there is a chat to communicate with other online players. A friendly greeting and an exchange of a couple of phrases set a calm tone for the future game, so do not neglect them.As a rule, it is not customary to discuss sensitive topics related to politics, religion, or interracial conflicts at the table. In addition, professional poker players advise beginners to leave their ego at the door of the gaming hall and not try to verbally prove their superiority over the rest. If you are a true poker guru, your results will speak for you. On the other hand, you should not also verbally underestimate your experience in the game. If you have reached certain heights in poker, trying to appear as a naive beginner will be inappropriate and unethical.A game of poker can go on for hours, so it's important that players don't neglect their own punctuality. If it's your turn and other players expect you to take some action, don't delay. Of course, some decisions require time to think, but unnecessarily dragging out the gameplay is not welcome.

That would be right bro.
And that is also what I try to do.
A cordial greeting to all and good luck.
But I think it happens as our friend GO930 says, I think many people have closed the chat for different reasons, lack of concentration, bad manners from other players and other reasons.
My regards, brother:):):)

The bottom line is that most of the players are recreational players. Who are just playing poker, creating pure chaos at the tables, and most people are simply not able to keep their emotions to themselves. For the most part, players who have been playing poker for a long time are already just playing multi-tables, and they have no time for chatting. Unless, of course, we take online poker.

Back in the old day's people with poor or bad manners usually were shot and dragged away from the table awwww the old day's, anyway now we just shut off the chat or ignore them as best we can. There are all kinds of people in the world some educated some not so much, so we will meet them one and all sooner or later at a table this is our burden to bare.
