I would like to know if playing a consistent poker, 20 or 25 tournaments per day, inside the bank, if it is possible to turn 50 dollars into 500 in a period of 1 month playing sit go?

Yes it is, I've done it before on a few sites.

Let break down some math.
Say you are playing in $5.50 buy in 6 man SnG and this is all you play.
With $50 deposit you can play and have to lose 9 games in a row to go broke.

Say the payout are 70% and 30% for 1st and 2nd.

First place would pay 70% of 30 so $21
Second place would pay 30% of 30 so $9
Let say when you cash 50% of the time you 50% of the time you get 2nd%

So the average cash for a win is $15.

Now lets say you cash about 66% of the games you play and you play 25 games per day.
So you cash in 16 out of 25 games this come done to cashing in 16 or 17 games.

Cashes = 16 wins time the average of $15 = $240.
Fees = $5.50 per game * 25 games = $137.50
Profit = cashes - fees = $102.5 per day before any rewards for frequent player point etc.

If you can consistently cash in about 66% the 6 man of the SnG you play then you can profit get to about $500 in about 5 days.

Be ready to have swings in both directions, this is variance.
Some days you might win 85% of the games you play, and some days you may only win 40% or less.

It is possible to do that in one night but at high risk and bad bankroll management watch out for the amount of rake you are paying as it varies in sit and gos from poker room to room play on a site with lowest rake if playing these as this impacts your roll good luck.

To cash 66% or more you have to be a very good player or your competition very bad and even then it is very unlikely.

But it can be done.

It will depend on individual skill, discipline, levels you play at, and the skill of your competition etc.

You can take the same example and reduce the percentage of game you place in the money and leave all other factors the same.

If you reduce the percentage of game you place in the money to just under 50%
Say 12 out of 25 games.

Cashes = 12 wins time the average of $15 = $180.
Fees = $5.50 per game * 25 games = $137.50
Profit = cashes - fees = $42.50 per day



Taking your more like 12 days to get to $500 profit


Your break even mark is just over 9 cashes out of 25 games that puts in the money 36% of the games you play. If your in the cash rate is below this mark you will be losing long term. You need to stay above this in the cash percentage long term to make a profit.

Depending on your current skill level it is very possible just be aware that one bad downswing and you might go broke.

I think OP wants to stay within the parameters of good Bankroll Management. This means 5% at a time to buy into a STT Sit 'n Go. So that means starting at $1 SnG. After doubling BR, it's on to $2, double again and it's $4, etc. PokerStars pays top three in a 9 runner SnG, top two in a 6 runner.

Your ROI would have to be pretty amazing for a month of 650 or so tourneys. It's a moving target, since as BR increases, stakes increase as well, and that super consistent, super good ROI stays the same, increasing actual profit. It would be very difficult, I would think. I don't want to figure the figures, but I think it would require a month long heater. The kind of heater you would look back upon in your old age and think "why did I waste that on microstakes!". :y:
Try to turn X size BR into 10X in a month using play money. Level of play aside, I think you will see that the actual activity and necessary win rate to convert X to 10X staying within the rules of good BRM would be formidable.

yes I think it is possible. I would assume it would require good bank roll management to do so. So that you are not putting too much money into one tournament and could navigate though moments that may be downswings.

Sometimes playing a MTT with a small buy-in and winning it could get you 500$ easily. You have to be in very deep of the tournament tho.

Yes you can. I make it to the 50$ from 2$ (from freeroll). Then I was playing zoom nl2 and got to 20$, then I played 4 table zoom nl5 and go to the 50$. In couple of hours I got 25x buy in and cash it out next week.

It’s very possible, but getting your bankroll 10 times over is a long haul OR a big win in MTT.

Getting ITM half the time is probably not realistic as someone showed above, definitely not long term. Also, playing a tenth of your bankroll for each SnG is a good way to go broke.

Aim for 10% ROI with at least twenty buy in’s. If your site has $2 + .20 SnGs, do those until you get over $100, then switch to $5 + .50. With a 10% ROI, that will take you around 450 games. That could be your whole month, or that could be one long week of poker. Really depends on how much you play.

Assuming you could continue the same ROI (unlikely at first, but possible long term), it’s another 450 games to get to $200. Another 450 to get to $400 and then $20 + $2 games. Then just a quick 45 to get to $500!

So, all in all, you are reasonably looking at 1400 SnGs to get there. Good luck!

Yes, it is very possible! But you must play smart ALL the time and be very, very disciplined All the time. Figure out a game protocol and stick to it. Manage your bankroll like a banker during a recession. Don't make those hero calls unless you absolutely, positively know the other guy is a bluffing.

It is definitely possible but very hard to do. My advice for this challenge of yours is to really stay focused the entire time. If you get to, let's say, 200$ early, don't suddenly switch to higher limits or switch from SnG to cash game or otherwise. Try to stick to your game.
Your primary goal should be earning money, getting profit out of your play, not the time that you need to do so. Therefore, making 500 in 45 or 60 days is quite good as well. Also do not give in to tilt!.
I had a mini challenge of my own where I wanted to turn 10 to 100 in one month and then try making it to 1000 in the 2nd month. I got up to 250, had few bad days in a row that got me down to 110-120$ and I got really pissed, so much that I gave up on my challenge and just withdraw the money.
There was no reason for me to do so, other then tilt, but at least I recognized the situation I was at, and took the money.

Anything is possible as long as you have control of the bankroll and do not despair when you lose part of your bankroll.
