I find music to be a distraction among many when playing online.... because im always doing 100 things lol.... If you ever see me timing out a lot...its because Im multitasking 100 or so things lol.

I'm pretty sure that I looked into this years back and that the conclusion based on some research was that music with lyrics is very distracting and slows your thought processes down but music sans-lyrics can actually relax you and not impede your ability to think quickly and clearly.

I am not much distracted from playing poker with music that I like, and it happens that I listen to music during a tournament or during cash games, and for me it is great to listen to my favorite music and play poker!

I can't tell that music distracts me , maybe if the song has lyrics and I sing along with the singer ha ha. But you always have the option to listen to some relaxing style like ambient genre music or something like classic music. The above style will definitely help you!

I never put music when playing live poker (I don't play live that much).

When I play online, I listen to soft music, but that's only to weaken (sorry if that's not the right word, english is not my first language) the sound of my girlfriend's music.

When I'm alone, it's mostly silence... It helps for my concentration.

I think everything what makes you feel relaxed Is good. At Onlinepoker its much more important to controll your Tilt-o-meter 😁 No one is watching you, So Its easy to make bad moves.
At Livepoker i would never go with Headphones.
At first I think Its disrespectfull to hear Music while playing Cards.
Second I like to hear my Opponents cry 😁
