Be forewarned - this is not your traditional poker book. As a matter of fact, if you are over thirty-five years old you may not like this book at all. It does give you some insights into the world of "young-gun" poker players and how they operate - Mathematics degrees supersede poker faces. It's cleverly written and in tune with the poker world of the early 21st century. I liked it.

Well, this book is not so much about learning although you can never tell what you will learn from anything. It's more about one man's (who happens to like playing poker) experience when he is "comped" into the world series of poker Main Event!

Clearly education in poker is very important as in any field, first reading then practice

I don't disagree. What I am saying in this review is that if you are looking for a primer or a book that coaches poker strategy, this is not that book. There are plenty of other good ones out there. If you are looking to go long for the ride and experience another man's trip to the wsop this might be a good read for you.
