HI guys ,

I know maybe stupid question but last time my friend said to me that playing poker online is illegal in poland. I don't know what to think about that. This rule was announced 2 years ago and one group says this rule is insignificant and I shouldn't worry about that , other people says different story.

So maybe there are here poland online poker grinders or people which know law very well , hope someone will help me

Thank you guys glgl

I have no problems to play on 888poker.Of course play live poker is illegal in Poland, I'dont know how its look online, but probably illegal too.
If you do not earn a living playing poker, you do not have to worry about it :)

According Polish law... Any game when sum of reward are more than 10.000 PLN should have bought concession by organizator of game, online service in this case. Additional when polish player win some cash he should pay tax 25% of them. All games and wins under 10.000 are free of taxes.
This are stupid PiS governments. I hope so they will gone in next cadention for 2 years.

I'm not from Poland but if the law specifies punishment for it then it is probable that you should not play online poker so you do not get prosecuted

The online poker in Poland is not insignificant. The country has a population of 38.5 million people with relatively high purchasing power, in the order of € 24,270 (GDP / Capita
The new law of the game will also bring taxes in line with those already seen in other European countries. Currently the Polish government receives 12% of turnover, but is now likely to be changed to more user-friendly market for operators with taxes of around 20% of gross revenues.
We see that if they pay the taxes, everything is solved our politicians only think in money my friends.
I believe that if it is not allowed, soon will be, everything runs in favor of the release of the online game in Poland.
