Is it profit?
Good decisions?
Learning something new?
Or simply having fun at the table?

The truth is that you play poker to win money, if besides that you have fun, learn and other things, much better

Mostly for profit, but I really like fun tournaments, especially if I manage to achieve a good place.

That makes sense! Profit is always important, but it’s great that you can still enjoy fun tournaments. There’s something really satisfying about finishing in a good spot and feeling that accomplishment, even if it’s not a huge payout

Absolutely! The main goal is to win money, but if you can also have fun, learn, and improve along the way, that’s the perfect combination. Enjoying the process makes the game even more rewarding

Wow, that sounds like an amazing session! Short, high-profit PLO sessions like that are great for both your bankroll and your confidence. Nothing beats that feeling when everything clicks in such a short time

Winning is great, of course, but a session where I play smart, learn, and stay composed always feels like a “win” to me—even if the results aren’t huge

For me, a good session isn’t just about walking away with profit. It’s when I stick to my strategy, avoid tilt, and make solid decisions even in tough spots. If I can look back and say I played disciplined, read situations well, and didn’t let emotions take over, that’s a win — regardless of the bankroll swing. Of course, booking a nice cash at the end makes it feel even sweeter.

Absolutely! I feel the same way — a successful session isn’t just about the money. Sticking to your strategy, staying disciplined, and making good decisions under pressure is what really counts. Profit is great, but knowing you played well is the true win

Exactly! The results are nice, but the real satisfaction comes from playing smart, learning, and staying composed. Those sessions build your skill and confidence, which is the true win in the long run

Winning money and taking some off the site. Is there any other criterion?

Hey there,
for me its that positive feeling even if i lose all my tournaments. I exactly know whats going on and iam okay now with my plays and outcomes. It cost me a alot of work to overcome these negative feelings or judging myself all the time. Iam able to just switch my mind now and go on, thats live.

Это прибыль?
Хорошие решения?
Хотите узнать что-то новое?
Или просто весело провести время за столом?
development skills such as strategic thinking, emotional control, and risk management

I would say it is enjoying the time spent by listening to music and getting at least some sort of winnings (using multiple tables to achieve this). Listening to music while playing is one way to create an optimal state of mind, and that's why I need music. It acts as a kind of protective bubble that separates me from external distractions and helps keep my thoughts clear. Best is when music is loud and have my earphones on. When a familiar rhythm is playing in the background, I can better focus.
