live - totally lack of patience. im also an action junkie, so when im playing with a bunch of really tight players i go friggin crazy !!!

online - my damn internet connection that sometimes cuts out when im in huge pot :/

When I first played poker live, it was at a 7 card stud table in the 4 Queens in Las Vegas. I was taught how to play by my mother, who was a very good player (BTW...Texas Holdem did not yet exist in casinos). I played so tight that I spent 2½ hours treading water....until I finally got impatient and blew $200 in the next 10 minutes.....now that's tough to do at a $1/2 table...but that's how frustrating poker can be.....you might be card dead for hours on end....so, patience was my weakness in my 30s....and still is in my 60s.

I committed a lot of this weakness too, want to play with no time and get some hands like Axo and I go all in. When I lost almost my entire bankroll I learned never to do this .

There's no way , after a bad beat the best way to pass the tilt is leave the poker for a while aside and cool down

My weakness is lack of attention. That's why I make mistakes.. Now I'm trying to improve myself in this component. I have found some exercises and a good program - leak buster. It analyzes my game, finds mistakes and helps to prevent them in future.

Use to be Overly Aggressive play. Getting agro over donkeys.

I have changed a lot in the past 5 years and have fixed these issues.
I like to think Im a fairly good all-rounder now.

I cant really hide my face expressions when it comes to live play and im trying hard not to. When it comes to online poker well lack of patience most of the times.

It's interesting to see how players will happily volunteer the information that they have in this thread, when if they were actually playing poker, they would do everything they could to hide their weakness and try to give nothing away. That is of course unless these cheeky people are bluffing and giving away secrets that aren't really secrets at all!

The key to weaknesses is to recognise them and do something about them, by using your strengths ability to develop the weaknesses. Don't expect results overnight as you have to work on it, but keep the faith and persevere. Hard work will produce positive results, but as with poker, patience and understanding is required to improve.

My biggest weakness in poker is arrogance. Very often think that my cards better than my opponent's cards. When an opponent raises, I think he's bluffing. And do not give in with good cards. Quickly comes the payoff - a loss. I do not have the patience.

My biggest weakness is probably that I show too much emotion, weather it's a hand that I've won, or a bad beat. Thankfully while I prefer live poker, most of playing happens online these days, so no one can see it. But if I was playing for live games, I'd definitely have to try to be less emotional.
