I just played a hand with Aces , I raised 2bbs , BTN reraised to 7bbs, 3 players went all in, I make my call as well. At the end 4 players including me with around 160bbs, two players has AJo, flop came K J T, turn is an 8, river Queen. Two players won the hand, my Aces has a chance to triple up but at the end river came a queen. That’s pokerNo. It's the best possible hand preflop, but AA could become drastically worse post-flop based on certain runouts and lots of betting. Pocket Aces is still only One Pair, so there's many times you'll want to fold AA. If we are only talking about preflop, then even here, there might be rare cases where folding AA is correct. Namely ICM implications or a satellite event where on the bubble and only advancing matters, but there's no benefit of first or last to advance.
Exactly…this is the one time that you know for sure that you have the best hand…post flop, things can change…as a previous post says, 99% of the time all in…as already mentioned in prior posts, if you are on the bubble or you only need to finish in the top 10, let’s say to get a satellite ticket, then that might be the time to make a good raise, without going all in.Push all-in preflop because I have the advantage
