Which hand do you think is stronger and easier to play? It's no coincidence that AQ is called the "worst best hand." For me personally, these two starting card combinations cause a lot of problems in the game.

The problem is not with the hands, but with the ability to play them

There are no worst or good hands. There is only bad or good flop , turn and river.😎😎

77 is the champion of three-of-a-kind.

77 is a little more likely (about 52-48%), but both hands have much stronger starting hands. Therefore, I fold from UTG position.

The question is a little theoretical, since we cant choose to have one hand over the other. But I will say, that for me AQ is an easier hand to play postflop, because it tends to mostly hit either a strong top pair or nothing at all (A high). So its usually pretty easy to classify as either a hand, that is good enough to bet for value or a hand, that should check and fold to any significant pressure.

77 on the other hand flop some sets, which is of course awesome and very easy to play. But far more often it flop second or third pair, which is a tough hand type to play, because its often not strong enough to bet for value, but at the same time to strong to easily fold. So there is often a lot of confusion, and if you dont flop a set, there are only 2 outs to improve later, whereas AQ usually has 6 outs to top pair.

I think, some of the bad reputation is AQ is due to the fact, its a common tournament bustout hand with its main nemesis being AK. But this is not because, AQ is difficult to play. Its simply because, there are 16 combos of AQ, whereas there are only 6 combos of 77. So we simply get dealt AQ more often, and therefore its also our final hand in more tournaments.

77 because you’re not waiting to hit something (all-in preflop)

One can't tell if any hand is better than other, couse cards one hold don't really matter (I'm talking about trash hands). What does is your posision, stacks, style of play of your opponents and their beting patterns.
