I suggest you first of all be patient at tables. I never play at cash table only at tournaments. I sit in only low buy in tournaments 1$,2$ or less. If I have time I I play every day but just once. The truth is it is hard to give useful advice. Everybody has its own strategy to build the bankroll. I have been playing since February on GG poker Until now i collected 80$ alltogether. altough iI was only at once at final table but finishing at 2, winning 36$. The rest is from smaller winnings, step by step. I finish in tournaments many time at paying placements. So the more you play, the more you will have experience. GOOD LUCK!!!

Do you have a track record to prove, that you are a winning player? If not then its not possible to have a bankroll but only a budget. So the best advice is to set a deposit limit of, whatever you are ok with spending on your hobby, and then try to build that track record. Like maybe playing 1.000 tournaments or 100.000 cash game hands and winning over this sample size. Not including freeroll winnings and for tournaments not only due to one large cash. Only when you have such a track record does it make sense to begin thinking about having a poker bankroll and how to manage it.

A lot depends on what you play, whether you play cash games or tournaments, if tournaments, what format, Spin & Go or Sit & Go, or maybe you prefer MTT tournaments or bounty tournaments. These are all important points to consider. But if we talk about bankroll management in general, I would suggest you try the following option. For example, spend no more than $2-3 of your bankroll per game session. So, if your bankroll is, for example, $100, I would recommend that you do not spend more than $2-3 per game night.

Have at least 100–150 buy-ins, whether you’re playing cash games or tournaments — depending on what you choose to focus on. Stick to your limits, don’t move up too quickly. Discipline is key. You can move up to higher stakes once you’ve built a bankroll that fits the same conditions.

No I don’t have a track record yet but I play good and I want to know what’s the budget to start a bankroll with as a deposit btw I play 1$ and 2$ tournaments almost all T builder

I agree that 100 is enough to envision a good bankroll management, eventually reaching higher levels but keep asking for tips like these, which I find "to the point" and answered in real-time.

The best advice I ever received regarding a starting bankroll was "how much would you spend on a first date?"

If you're a movie and Maccy D's kind of a guy then $50 is reasonable. But if you're more into front row seats to the biggest show in town followed by a 3 course meal in the most prestigious restaurant and finished off by a private boat ride down the river with a string quartet serenading you, then dropping a few $$$$ is fine, too. The idea is that you only spend what you can afford to lose, knowing there's a chance you won't get anything back from your investment.

I would also stick to one format - don't switch between cash, Spin&Gos, MTT's, MB, Vanilla, BH etc.
