I’ve been trying to improve my study routine and I’m curious about how other players structure their learning. There are so many different methods: watching training videos, reviewing hand histories, running sims, posting hands on forums, or even just discussing strategy with friends.

Sometimes I feel like I spend too much time passively watching content instead of actively working on my own leaks. On the other hand, diving too deep into solver outputs without a clear plan can also get overwhelming.

So my question is: what’s the most effective study routine you’ve found for consistent improvement in tournaments or cash games? Do you set weekly goals, focus on one concept at a time, or just review hands as they come up?

Looking forward to hearing your approaches—I think sharing different study methods could help a lot of us refine our routines.
