How do you cope with bad beats, and are they more dan good beats.

Bad beats definitely sting more than good beats feel good. I try to remind myself that they’re just part of variance and don’t mean I played badly. When they happen, I take a quick break, note the hand for review later, and move on. Focusing on making the right decisions helps me stay grounded instead of getting caught up in short-term luck.

I accept this as a given. Bad wounds happen in poker, and you need to accept it and move on.

Long ago I learned to accept the hand with a “So be it” approach. Bad beats happen. If you can find a way to bake this into your mental game, then it gets easier to live with.

It’s also natural that we will remember the ones that sting more than the times when the hand goes our way.

I'm getting used to it now; usually, eliminations happen when I have AA in my hand. I'm going to start creating a database, but I'm sure I lose 2/3 of the hands that go to showdown when I have AA.

It is what it is.

The best thing you can do is just to go forward and don't look back...

Are they more than good beats? Yeah seems like it doesn’t it lol I think it just seems like it because we remember those really really bad beats like someone one outs us lol
We just know that’s it’s all part of the game and the longer you play you just get used it I think. You have to have self control really if you want to level up your game so when it happens to me I just move on and forget it and get ready for the next hand. If it takes me out of the tournament then so be it there is always next time, it just wasn’t my day, whatever, it’s just part of the game.
