Many players study strategy and ranges, but I feel like discipline is just as important.
Knowing when to fold, when to stop playing, and managing tilt can make a huge difference in results.
Do you think discipline is the most important skill in poker?

I dare to say discipline is the most important thing in poker.
For anyone who aspires to be a pro or only a winning player this is the top tier priority.
It includes so much, like br management, not going too crazy with bluffs, rare gambles during play etc

Discipline is definitely one of the most important skills in poker. Studying strategy is essential, but without the ability to control emotions and stick to solid decisions, it is very hard to be consistent.

Things like proper bankroll management, table selection and knowing when to quit a session can have a huge impact on long term results. Many players know what the right play is, but discipline is what allows them to actually make it.

So maybe it is not the only key skill, but it is one of the foundations that supports everything else.

Its one of the most important things at the tables at the moment, because you will use discipline against many players, then you will be a profitable person.

Many players didn't have discpline, because another important thing is patience.

Discipline, position, intuition, they all have factors that you need, but lets not forget about luck. You can bluff all you want but eventually you need the cards!

Absolutely. You can have the best GTO strategy in the world, but if you don't have the discipline to follow it when you’re stuck four buy-ins, you’re just a gambler with a textbook. Discipline is what keeps you from 'revenge-shoving' or moving up in stakes to 'get even.' It’s the foundation of everything else.

Discipline is everything because you can have all the GTO knowledge in the world and still go bust if you can't control your ego or stop yourself from chasing losses on tilt.
