Good BB/100 hands number

What is considered good? What kind of BB/100 do pros have? I'm playing at $0.05/$0.10 tables and averaging 9.08 BB/100 after 3380 hands, didn't know if that was good or not. Note that BB = Big Bets, not Big Blinds, thanks.

I'd like to know too, I have a bb/100 of 7.6 in 14,750 hands of .25/50 at PokerStars and I'd like to know how I'm doing.

I've been told 7 is good, 10 is the high end of what's sustainable over 10,000+ hands.

I asked this question before, but I'm too lazy to find it.

yeah I have heard 5BB/100 hands is average so i think 10ish is awesome!

10BB/100 (= 20bb/100) is really the max sustainable, as noted.

Can someone explain 10BB/100 hands? Does BB mean Big Blinds? I could be wrong, but I dont think it does. If I start at playing .05/.10, then 10 Big Blinds would be $1.00...which wouldn't be very profitable.

Also, is there a formula for figuring the total #BB/100 if I wasnt using any type of poker-tracker?

BB = Big Bets which = 2*Big Blind (concept taken from limit poker I think).

So if you play $0.05/$0.10, 10 BB/100 hands is 10*$0.20 = $2 per hundred hands.


If you want to calculate it yourself, take your profit, divide it by however many hundred hands, that equals profit per hundred hands. Now divide this by the Big Bet (twice the BB). So say you've played 500 hands and made $25 at $0.05/$0.10. That's $5 per hundred hands (25/5), and 5/.2 = 25 BB/100 hands.
