Bad beats are part of poker, and every player experiences them sooner or later. Even when you make the correct decision, luck can sometimes go against you.

The difficult part is not the bad beat itself, but how you react afterward. Many players go on tilt and start making poor decisions, which often leads to losing even more chips.

In my opinion, the best approach is to accept that variance is part of the game. If you keep making good decisions, the results will come in the long run.

Taking a short break after a frustrating hand can also help clear your mind and keep you focused.

How do you personally deal with bad beats?

It depends, when I made a tood decision but variance did hit me it doesn't affect me, as you said, making good decisions on long term is the key. Otherwise when I make a bad decision and it leads to loosing chips I get a little tilted and have to whatch myself of take s break to not make more poor decisions because of the frustation.
Good game!!

Bad beats are part of poker, and every player experiences them sooner or later. The most important thing is to remember that variance is a normal part of the game, even when you make the correct decisions.
One thing that helps is focusing on the quality of your decisions rather than the result of a single hand. If you played the hand correctly, then in the long run those situations will usually be profitable.
It can also help to take a short break after a tough loss, clear your mind, and avoid playing while tilted. Staying calm and disciplined is one of the key skills that separates strong players from the rest.

Bad beats are definitely part of poker and everyone goes through them.

For me, the most important thing is remembering that you can’t control the cards, only your decisions. If I know I got my chips in with the best hand, I try to see it as a good play rather than focusing on the result.

When a bad beat is frustrating, taking a short break helps a lot. Even a few minutes away from the table can reset your mindset and prevent tilt.

In the long run, I think the key is accepting variance and staying focused on making good decisions consistently. The results usually balance out over time.

Bad beats happen to everyone. The key is how you react. Staying calm, accepting variance, making good decisions, and taking short breaks after frustrating hands helps maintain focus.
