I usually play zoom NL2 6max. some times even FR. But zoom is a nitfest. so i dont see it as very profitable since you cant easily win big pots except for the occasional cooler. whenever i play cash games i see some donks. didnt have much luch with the donks since recently i am running extremely bad. but i am still in explore mode so i want to try more things. i have tried some heads ups now and then but really i havent studied enough to be able to make profit. i tried some spin n goes. but still i havent played enough to tell if its profitable. the one thing i am sure of is that players there are total idiots. but the rake is high and the additional payment for the jackpot really makes it even harder to have some profit. Thoughts on HUSNG? is it more or less profitable than cash in low limits? what about hyper turbos? i know theres big variance in them but i guess by making a formula and playing against people who dont know a thing you can add huge volume and make a profit. right or wrong? any thoughts?

the profitability of a certain variant depends on your style of play and how you adapt, if spin and go would not be profitable there would be no spin and legends, and if the SNG were not profitable there would not be regular players in this modality and so applies to any mode, so it only depends on your style of play and how you fit it

If zoom is a nitfest, then you have great opportunity to win most of the pots, if you encounter a resist then just fold.

For me, and for people who are on the more analytical end of the intelligence spectrum (not on the action-hungry side of it), cash games are the way to go.

Can you happily be folding 20 hands out of 23? If answer is no, you are not the personality type that can profit from 9-man cash tables. I am that person, I don't enjoy the folding, I use the folds to gain reads and abuse those reads on people in those 3 out of the 23 that I take to showdown or make the opponent fold in.

I am patient but I am not scared. I am tight, but I am not a nit. When it comes down to it I will all-in with mid-pair to your fairly large stack if I read you as bluffing me or overbetting a straight draw.

I adore cash games, they are my way of life and they are where I naturally dominate.

I've been finding low stakes cash games to be profitable with lower variance than zoom games. But as Rational Madman says, you need to have a lot of patience.

I initially started with SNGs and Spin&Go's, but found I was losing more often than not - I'll try SNGs and MTTs when I've got a bigger bankroll and have improved my skills.

If you already played and explored different game formats then your current bankroll (ballance on each tried game) is an answer to your question. If you want to find "your game" which is most profitable for you try to play at least 10K hand per game format.

i dont think there is a "most profitable game". It depends on your own strength at the different types. Try a few and see in what game you feel most comfortable. Look at your bankroll to know which stakes you can play

God of KO's!!!! :adore:

2NL normal tables at stars are a very easy way to earn money as well. IF you put up a decent cash game.

For low bets the game is excellent SNG and excellent KO tournaments you can raise money on them well, tournaments are not expensive but the profit is good, in cash games on small bets you can not win much only you spend a lot of time if you play the cash game only at the rate of 5 -10 cents and then the profit will be excellent!

By the way, it is not unimportant the type of games such as hyper and turbo.
You have to pay attention when choose the game. Fast speed & small chips are not a quick way to your earnings.
