Good Day,
I am thinking about to start organizing my own private, life poker tournament, I never did it before. I am professional event organizer, but never did a poker game night.
Could you give me some tips, advises or suggestion, what should I think about organizing this king of event? What is specific food, drinks that should de provided for participants? What is special about poker people, that I should take care of?
For sure I want to monitoring/cameras in different places to record the game, in case of doubt we can watch the recordings. What is other ideas to protect the event, to make it safe for people? Shoud I serve alcohol? Shoud I have more than one dealer?
How much commission should I take from players, 10%, 20%? more, less?
I plant to organize it once a week for about 10-20 PPL. I am planning to start with small buy-ins just to learn everything before I start to organize serious games for big money.
