Don't play hands, play situations." It changed how I think about every decision. What's the best tip you've learned?

Never bet money that you don't have, it also applies to any other game that involves money involved

Convert your stack to how many big blinds you have and base your play around that.

To take time to make your bet and play your own way, everyone has a different style of playing poker.

For me, the best advice I ever heard came from a brazilian regular known as Cavalito. He said something like: “Poker is all about range interaction.” At first, it sounded too technical, but once I really thought about it, it completely changed how I approached the game. Instead of obsessing over my exact hand strength, I started thinking more about how my range interacts with my opponent’s range on each board.

It made me realize that poker isn’t about finding the “best hand” in isolation, but about understanding how both ranges connect (or miss) in different spots. That idea alone helped me stop overplaying marginal hands and start thinking strategically about how to construct lines that make sense in the bigger picture.

Dear enthusiasm, patience is a useful virtue at the poker tables. Take a close look at your opponents and their moves. Understanding the odds and positions is fundamental to making assertive decisions. Manage your bankroll wisely and ensure your participation for the long term. Remember, poker is a game of skill and strategy, with a touch of luck.

Yeah, I like this a lot. Trying to paint the bigger picture.
